How to find subs for classes that don't have a permanent teacher

No instructor, TBD instructor, rotating classes

Written by Danielle Orlick

Are you looking to find subs for rotating schedules or classes that don't have a permanent instructor on it yet? See below!

  1. Create another new user profile in your scheduling system and call it TBD Instructor (or any name you prefer as long as it has a first and last name).

    1. If you use ClubReady - you cannot use the "no instructor" option for these classes. You still need to create an additional user profile that has all of the profile settings required for the integration (enabled for scheduling, 1 service, classes, availability, etc). This is why we recommend naming this profile "TBD Instructor" or something of the like.

  2. This profile needs to have an email that is not already being used by any of the users currently in NetGym. It cannot be your email address if you are already using that email address for your profile.

  3. Assign the classes to this profile in your scheduling system

  4. Synchronize your users within NetGym settings > users and this profile will appear in the inactive tab

  5. Do not send an activation email to this user as it won't be an active profile and can remain inactive

  6. Head to the sub board to create a sub request

  7. Within the Requesting Instructor field, delete your name and type in the TBD instructor (or whatever name you gave it) profile

  8. Select the classes and voila!
