Resource Hub for Managers and Admins

Learn how to upload, organize, and manage resources in NetGym's Resource Hub, including visibility by role so staff see relevant content.

Written by Danielle Orlick

We’ve heard how frustrating it is to find studio guides, teaching resources, videos, etc so now you can view it all in one place!

Not only that, but there’s more:

  • Managers can more easily organize, upload and apply specific visibility tags so what you see is more relevant for you and easier to find

  • Use the filters to see important info related to your skills and locations that are based on the classes you teach or manage. Note, by default, your filters will reflect the skills and locations (that you manage and teach) on your NetGym profile.

  • View other class or location guides if you want to browse and learn about a different class formats or studios

  • View who has viewed the resource and when

  • Coming soon...the ability to comment on a specific resource!

Head to the resource section and check it out!

For step by step instructions, follow the below steps:

  • Web: Navigate to the Knowledge Center → Resource Hub.

  • Mobile App: Make sure you have downloaded the most recent version and head to the Resources Hub labeled "Resources" on the bottom menu bar:

How to add folder and/or files

  • If it's your first time using Resource Hub, add a file first, and the + Add file(s) or folder icon will populate at the top right of the page so folders can be created

  • Click on the + icon (on mobile app) or the + Add file(s) or folder on web

  • Give the folder a name

  • Add a custom thumbnail, keep the default thumbnail, or head to account settings to add a default thumbnail for all your resources

  • Folders are visible to everyone without any specific tags

  • Add a file within this folder

    • Give it a name

    • Add specific skills, location, and team tags.

      • Instructors will see resources based on skill and location tags by default when they land on the resources hub homepage. They CAN however, search for a resource outside of their skill set. They cannot search for the file outside of their locations.

      • Location filter for managers represents their management and teaching locations.

      • Users will NOT be able to see or search for resources that do not match the teams or locations assigned to their profile.

    • Visibility by Role: Select the roles that will be able to see and search for the resource.

    • You can "Save as Draft" if you need to come back to it later or "Publish" to make it visible. Note, we are still auto-saving a draft if you are mid-resource.

    • You can move between files in a folder by using the arrows on the top right

    • Storage: You can upload up to 1GB in video file size and 256mb for everything else. There is no limit on total storage amount.
