Your manager may occasionally require you to upload a document or sign an agreement directly in NetGym — things like certifications, liability insurance, or a studio policy acknowledgement.
How to know when you have documentation to complete
You'll receive an email notification when a new document is assigned to you. You can click the button in that email to go directly to the document.
You can also find it anytime by opening the side navigation menu in NetGym.
In the mobile app, you'll see a number next to Documentation showing how many items are outstanding.
On web, you'll navigate to My Profile → Documentation.
How to sign a document
If a document requires your review and signature, it will show a status of Awaiting Signature.
Click on the document to open it
Review the file — you can download a copy to keep for your records
Click Sign Document
Type your full legal name
Add your signature
Check the acknowledgement box confirming you've reviewed the document
Click Submit
Once submitted, you'll see one of two statuses:
Status | What it means |
Awaiting Review | Your manager needs to approve your submission before it's finalized |
Submitted | You're all set — no further action needed |
You cannot re-submit a signed document on your own.
If you made an error or need to sign again for any reason, contact your manager and ask them to re-send the document to you.
How to upload a required document
If your manager has assigned a document category that requires you to upload your own file (like a certification or insurance document):
Select your file
Enter a document name
If your manager requires an expiration date, add it — for example, if your CPR certification expires next year, enter that date
Click Submit
If you need to replace a file you've already uploaded, click Re-submit to upload a new version.
If it's within 90 days of expiration, you'll see a Renew status.
If your manager has expiration reminders enabled, NetGym will send you reminder emails starting 90 days before your document expires and periodically leading up to the expiration date.
