You can manage NetGym from desktop or the mobile app — all you need to do is activate your profile!
How to find the activation email
You'll receive an email with the subject line: "Activate your [Company Name] NetGym account!" Click the link inside to activate your profile.
Missing activation emails
If you cannot find the activation email, head to NetGym login page → enter your email → type in any random password → Sign In.
If you see a pop up that says, "Looks like you haven't activated your profile yet," click Resend Invite. Check your email again for the invite.
If you see a pop up that says, "Looks like you have not been invited to NetGym," reach out your manager so they can send the activation email. Once invited, you can follow the steps to activate your profile.
How to set up your NetGym profile
1. Add Personal Details
Set your password and agree to the terms and conditions.
Your manager has already set up your profile with your name, email, location(s), and eligible class formats. You don't need to enter this information yourself.
If your name is spelled incorrectly, contact your manager — they're the only one who can update it. Once logged in, you can edit your email yourself if needed.
Phone Number
If you'd like to receive SMS notification texts, enter your phone number and add in the verification code. If skipped, you can can update it in your profile settings later on.
2. Set Notifications
Set your notification preferences for sub requests, personal notifications, and shifts (if enabled). You can set preferences on when and how you're notified and for what.
Notification types:
Email — always available
Mobile push — available if you download the app
SMS — available if you opt in and the sub request is within 10 days of class time
Your account owner determines whether you can select preferred teaching locations and filter which locations you receive notifications for.
It's recommended to enable push and/or SMS notifications so urgent requests aren't missed.
3. Upload Photo
Put a face to your name so teammates can recognize you when accepting or sending sub requests.
4. Download App
While you can access NetGym on desktop, you'll likely want to manage your request and team communications on the go.
5. Set Availability (if enabled)
Open NetGym → ≡ menu → Availability. Set two types of availability:
Subbing availability: Days/times you're open to sub. You won't receive invites for classes outside this window.
Permanent class availability: Days/times you're available for new permanent classes, visible to management for scheduling opportunities.
